Swill Coworking – Terms of Service

1. Membership Overview

Swill Coworking (“Swill”) provides shared workspace, Wi-Fi, coffee and tea service, community programming, and related amenities inside Swill Apothecafé by Blacksmiths. Memberships are available on a recurring monthly or annual basis.

2. Membership Types

Membership tiers include Student, Resident, Signature, and Collective, each with defined access hours, amenities, and privileges.
Swill reserves the right to update membership offerings, rates, and amenities with reasonable notice to current members.

3. Hours of Operation

Coworking access is available Monday through Friday, 7 AM–9 PM, unless otherwise posted.
Staffed hours are 7 AM–5 PM.
Weekend access may be offered as a paid add-on or for special programming.

4. Payments and Billing

  • All memberships renew automatically each billing cycle until canceled.

  • Monthly memberships are billed every 30 days from the signup date.

  • Yearly memberships are billed once per year or, if selected, in two equal installments (first at signup, second the following month).

  • Payment is processed through Stripe, Square, or the system designated by Swill.

  • Members agree to keep a valid payment method on file at all times.

  • Declined payments may result in suspended access until the account is current.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Month-to-month plans may be canceled with 14 days’ written notice prior to the next billing date.

  • Annual and installment plans are commitments for the full term and are non-refundable after the first 7 days.

  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time, late cancellations, or missed events.

  • Swill may terminate a membership at its discretion for non-payment, policy violations, or conduct deemed unsafe or disruptive.

6. Pausing Membership

Members may request a pause of up to 30 days for travel, illness, or personal circumstances. Pauses must be requested in writing and approved by management. Annual terms will be extended accordingly.

7. Guest Policy

  • Members may host guests within posted guest-hour limits.

  • Guests must check in with staff and follow all house rules.

  • Members are responsible for the behavior and safety of their guests.

8. Use of Space

  • Swill Coworking operates inside a functioning restaurant and café. Please respect shared areas and guests.

  • No outside food or alcohol may be brought in without prior approval.

  • Personal belongings must be kept at your workstation; Swill is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Members agree to maintain cleanliness and courtesy in all shared spaces.

9. Add-Ons and Additional Services

Optional services such as printing, mail handling, event space rental, or catering are billed separately.
All add-on services are subject to availability and current pricing.

10. Code of Conduct

Swill is a community space built on mutual respect.
Members agree to:

  • Treat others with kindness and professionalism.

  • Use inclusive, non-discriminatory language and behavior.

  • Maintain a clean and collaborative environment.

  • Follow all posted rules and staff instructions.

Any harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct may result in immediate termination without refund.

11. Liability Waiver

Members use Swill facilities at their own risk.
Swill Apothecafé, its owners, and staff are not liable for loss, theft, injury, or property damage occurring on premises, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Internet and Privacy

Members agree to use Swill’s Wi-Fi responsibly and not for illegal or high-risk activity.
Swill does not monitor content but reserves the right to restrict access for misuse, excessive bandwidth consumption, or network abuse.

13. Photography and Promotion

By entering the premises, members consent to the use of photography or video for Swill’s promotional and community materials unless they opt out in writing.

14. Changes to Terms

Swill may update these Terms of Service as the space evolves. Members will receive at least 14 days’ notice before material changes take effect.

15. Acceptance

By submitting payment or entering the space, you agree to these Terms of Service and all related policies.
